Terms of Service

The service

PastFi is an investment simulation tool operated by AYolos LLC ("PastFi," "we," "us"). It replays historical data across stocks, high-yield savings accounts, and real estate to compare hypothetical returns. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Not financial advice

PastFi does not provide investment advice, financial planning, or recommendations, and is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer.

Simulation results are based on historical data and mathematical models. Past performance does not guarantee future results. The outputs are hypothetical, are not personalized to your circumstances, and should not be relied upon for making investment decisions. Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you are in the EEA or UK, you must also meet the applicable age of digital consent. The Service is not directed to children under 13.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the platform
• Misrepresent simulation results as guaranteed investment returns
• Circumvent rate limits or security measures

Data sources

Simulations are powered by publicly available data from FRED (Federal Reserve Economic Data), Yahoo Finance, Zillow (ZHVI), and the U.S. Census Bureau. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or timeliness of third-party data. Data source availability may change without notice.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and methodology, is owned by PastFi. Your simulation inputs and results belong to you. We do not claim ownership of the data you provide.

Fees

The Service is currently offered free of charge. If we introduce paid plans in the future, the applicable prices, billing cycles, cancellation, auto-renewal, and refund terms will be presented to you before you purchase, and those terms will govern that transaction.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how we use it.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PastFi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PastFi and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising from these terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Arizona, USA, except where prohibited by applicable law.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, in whole or in part, if you violate these terms or to protect the Service, and we may modify or discontinue the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
